Kestrel Alarms Ltd was
founded in 1982 by Stuart and Kay Sanderson. Stuart was then
a pilot and the fledgling Company grew from a home office.
In 1985, they were joined by their son, Hugo Sanderson. Hugo
was trained as an engineer and together, the three built up
the business whilst Stuart continued to fly jumbo jets.

During the early 1990s,
Kestrel achieved insurance approval and rented their first
commercial premises. In 1993 the company purchased it’s current
premises at Unit 3, Star Road Trading Estate, Star Road, Partridge
Green, West Sussex.
In 2000, Hugo became
the Managing Director and shortly after Stuart became the
Chairman. Stuart continues to have an active role in the company,
despite being retired.
